Research found out that more often than not, those persons who have excess nasal and throat issues will have the tendency to snore more than the others. Also, the position of your tongue could also cause the snoring sound.

Note that snoring could indicate of a more serious health condition like sleep apnea that needs immediate medical attention. Know that sleep apnea is also life threatening and therefore has to be attended to sooner. It is advisable that you have yourself checked on if you have the following symptoms, like breathing pauses while sleeping, sleepiness and daytime fatigue that are excessive, a feeling of exhaustion as you wake up, morning headaches, weight gain, and waking up in the middle of the night in a confusion.
